HOW CAN I OBTAIN HOUSING WITH HAUS OF META?

Review our Housing Admissions process to see if you qualify for housing. For more information or any questions, feel free to contact a Case Manager.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME ONCE I'M A HAUS OF META RESIDENT?

While an active resident of our sober living home, the use of drugs or alcohol are strictly prohibited with or without permission. Any resident who fails to comply with the house rules will forfeit their privileges and be discharged immediately. See full list of House Rules here.

AM I REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A REHAB PROGRAM?

YES. As a resident of HOM, you are obligated to complete an out patient recovery program and attend AA,CA, and NA meetings. All of our residents are extremely serious about their sobriety and recovery. We consider anyone who is not interested in participating in an outpatient recovery program ineligible for housing with Haus of Meta. We're birthing butterflies and are only interested in housing individuals who are serious about staying Clean. What is most important to us is that you have a desire to stay clean and sober. The structure provided at Haus of Meta is community driven. We look out for each other and hold each other accountable for our failures. However each resident is to remain accountable for their actions and accept the consequences for the choices they make.

DOES HOM IMPLEMENT CURFEWS?

Absolutely. For the safety of all HOM residents, all residents must maintain curfews of 10:00pm - 5:00am Sunday through Thursday and 11:00 pm on Friday and Saturday.

ARE WEEKEND PASSES ALLOWED?

One and/or two day passes are an earned privilege. Residents must be current with their rent, chores, assignments, and have maintained good standing with the residence. This is how our residents earn the privilege of weekend passes with the understanding that they will be required to submit to a drug and/or alcohol test upon returning.

CAN I HAVE VISITORS?

Depending upon what stage you're in, in your recovery, visitors may or may not be allowed. Sponsors are encouraged to visit at any time during non-curfew hours (between the hours of 9am and 10pm). Immediate family members are welcome during these hours as well. All visitors are required to sign in and out and must be introduced to either the unit captain or the general manager. Friends are also welcomed, however they must also be active participants in a recovery program and must follow the above guidelines.
